C. Raymond Cottrell, M.D.
Dr. Raymond Cottrell received his medical degree from the University of Texas-San Antonio. Dr. Cottrell completed his internship and residency in internal medicine as well as his fellowship in gastroenterology at Shands Teaching Hospital at the University of Florida. He served as chairman of the division of gastroenterology and gastrointestinal endoscopy for 10 years.
Dr. Cottrell practiced in Orlando for 24 years before moving to Tallahassee in 2006. While in Orlando he served as chairman of the division of Gastroenterology and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy for 10 years at the main campus of Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. Cottrell enjoys practicing all aspects of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Dr. Cottrell has served on numerous boards and committees at his alma mater, Florida State University, having been past national chairman of the FSU Alumni Association and Seminole Boosters, Inc. He is an avid golfer.
